For Individual Board Agendas

If you wish to address the Board during the Public Comment section of the meeting or during the corresponding item section, you must complete and submit a Public Comment Card BEFORE 6:30 PM.  If you are attending the School Board meeting via Zoom please make sure that the name on the Public Comment Card match the name you enter when joining the Zoom Meeting.

You will be called upon during Agenda Item Number 8: Public Comment or during the corresponding item number you have selected.

If attending via Zoom once your name has been called, the meeting organizer will allow you to unmute yourself. Unmute yourself and address the Board. Comments will be limited to 3 minutes to allow others time to comment.

A participant in person or in Zoom who raises his/her hands to speak but has not completed and submitted a Public Comment card before 6:30 PM will not be able to speak to the Board.  Any Public Comments submitted after 6:30 PM will be submitted to the School Board after the meeting for review.

The Board is prohibited by law from taking any action on matters discussed that are not on the agenda.  No adverse conclusions should be drawn if the Board does not respond to your comments at this time. However, the Board may respond briefly to statements made, questions posed, make an inquiry of staff for factual information, or refer the item to staff.

For those who will attending a meeting via Zoom, and who plan to submit a Public Comment Card, although an email address and name are required to submit a Comment Card, the email address does not have to be authenticated.  The name does not have to be the person's legal name.  A person's initials, "Supportive Staff", "Caring Citizen", etc. will be acceptable entries.  Please make sure that the name on the Public Comment Card match the name you enter went joining the Zoom Meeting.

If you have a comment or complaint regarding a specific employee, please refrain from making a Public Comment and contact the employee’s supervisor for resolution.
